Hi everyone! Carol here again with some important updates for your home. This week, we’re going to be focusing on water distribution systems such as whole house water filters and water heaters. The water supply for your home is extremely important! If you’re using a water heater tank in your home, I’ve got some bad news for you.
Traditional water heater tanks are used in more homes than not, unfortunately. The average lifespan of a water heater tank is about 5 years, and during that time, your water is often sitting in the tank, stagnant, and absorbing hard metals and potentially harmful chemicals. If cracked, could flood your whole house. I’ve read horror stories on the internet of this happening, and entire homes needing to be remodeled to reverse the damage. Luckily, the workaround for home and business owners is simple: tankless water heaters are in, and they’re here to stay! With a lifespan of about 20 years, it’s no wonder why people all across the world are making the switch to a tankless water heater system.
As far as I was concerned initially, it was just a matter of time before the water heater would break and need replacing. In my research, I discovered tankless water heaters and quickly realized what I was missing—safer, better energy efficiency, and we ended up having so much more space since the tankless water heater is so tiny by comparison! I had my Navien installed last month and I could not be happier. Endless hot water from all taps in my home is a quality of life I never want to cut corners around ever again. Although we didn’t make the switch to a tankless water heater to save money; but it’s hard not to notice how much money we do end up saving on our utility bills. Green & clean hot water with almost triple the lifespan of a regular tank? Sign me up!
There’s no heater like a tankless water heater. If you own a home and have been putting off getting a tankless water heater system, believe me when I say that this is something you WON’T want to miss out on.
Make the switch to a tankless water heater! You’ll thank me later!!
